Description

Managed furniture coordination effort as well as provided team support during CD and CA for the >550,000SF Government Agency Department Consolidation, demo/renovation of existing down-town office space (15 floors) then relocating personnel and support from five existing office locations throughout the region. The scope of work included coordination with the client representative and end-user to clarify furniture needs, refinement of furniture space standards and non-proprietary specifications for the RFQ’s used, review of vendor bids, furniture finishes, review of furniture shop-drawings, coordination between furniture and power/data/av connectivity and various coordination with vendors. Additionally developed space planning, design development, construction documents, change orders, coordination with the contractor, construction administration, and punchlists. Design factors included GSA, security and agency-specific regulations along with LEED silver certification. Additional work one year after completion to redesign the 5th floor 20,000SF, to add additional personnel to the full floorplate
